Are you dreaming of an easy summer wardrobe?
Join us for the Georgia Tee Workshop and sew yourself a timeless handmade garment you’ll reach for again and again.
The Georgia is a modern wardrobe staple with a soft, boxy silhouette and clean, utilitarian lines. Designed with universal fit in mind, this pattern features a gently scooped neckline, substantial cuffs, and a relaxed shape that works beautifully. The unique sleeve construction creates an intentionally modern look while remaining simple and satisfying to sew.
This class is suitable for beginner sewists who are comfortable threading their sewing machine and ready to dive into garment sewing.
Choose light- to medium-weight fabrics with no stretch will work exceptionally well. Linen, cotton voile, silk crepe, seersucker, tencel, rayon-pretty much anything with some drape will work for this pattern. Lighter weight fabrics will add more drape, and heavier fabrics will result in a more structured garment. You can even try this in a wool or wool blend for a wintry option.
Please bring your sewing machine (or email katherine@tinycheerhandmade.com to reserve one) along with fabric and notions as listed in the pattern requirements. A printed pattern will be provided. A materials list will be sent after registration.
