For anyone with a machine still in its box, or who hasn't sewn since grade eight. We start where you are: what the parts do, how to thread the machine without the manual, how to wind a bobbin, and what all those stitch settings are for.
By the end of four hours, you'll have sewn a straight seam, corners, curves and understood what a seam allowance is and why 5/8" keeps turning up. You'll create a beginner-friendly project using fabrics provided.
Sewing machines and tools are provided, so you can simply arrive ready to learn.
Bring: Yourself. Machines, fabric, thread and tools are all provided.
Good next step: Zipper pouch, Halloween totes, or either four-week garment course
